Time to Become A Little Less Creepy

So....let's be serious.

I telecommute and work for a software company. This is how I help pay the bills and buy cute shoes and random things that i "need" from Target, but that's about as exciting as it gets.

What this really means is that I work from our upstairs office, or (more often than not) from the comfort of my couch, all while wearing one of God's best creations...yoga pants.

What this also means is that I have super limited social interaction. (I'm sure I'll discuss and whine about this a little later on.) Enter the wonderful world of blogs. Running, healthy eating, fashion, home decorating, cooking...I definitely don't do all of these things, but I'm all about reading the blogs. I don't have a blog and it's pretty rare that I leave a comment. Pretty sure this makes me the ultimate creeper/stalker.

So, today I decided I'd try this whole blog thing. I don't know if anything I write will be interesting, entertaining, or fun. I don't know if anyone will even read. But, I feel like it makes me a tiny bit less creeptastic, so I'm going to give it a try.

All that being said, allow me to introduce myself:

Hi, I'm Robin. Be forewarned, I am quite possibly the least photogenic person....ever.

In May, I married this guy.

He's 5'4". I'm 5'10". Sometimes people look at us a little strangely. Sometimes, like the time we were in an Aruban taxi on our honeymoon, people think it's impossible that we're actually married. We think it's funny. Also, he's Panamanian but grew up in MD. I am so pale that most of my makeup is called "transparent." I grew up in MI.

This might be one of the least flattering photos of me, ever. But it's a really good example of said height difference.

See? I was not kidding about the pale thing.

HI!

Whew, I feel a tiny bit less creeptastic already!
